The role of Deacons at Maranatha Baptist Church is to serve and minister as a helping hand to our pastor. We feel that we are called and appointed by God to assist our pastor in every way possible. One way this is achieved is through our Family Deacons Ministry. Each and every family in the Church is assigned to a Deacon or Yokefellow. The Deacons are called out by the Church to serve for a three year period and qualifications for a Deacon is based on 1st Timothy 2:8-13.
