Bring a friend to Sunday School

Can you remember the day you were saved? Some remember the day and hour, some the month and year. Now if you can remember the day go back one more day. What would have happened to you if you had died that day. My day was in April, 1942. I was in a Sunday School class taught by a farmer. I often have asked myself when I sit and wonder why God tarries. I have come to the conclusion that there are still those who will be saved. Thank God.

Do you have family or friends who still need to come to the truth of the Gospel of Christ. My prayer is that those who are unsaved will find the Lord before it is too late. Yet, we rejoice that the Rapture can happen at any moment. In Sunday School you might just be studying a Bible passage such as Romans 11:25. "For I do not want you brethren to be uninformed of this mystery, least you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of Gentiles has come in." It will end with the Rapture. When will that be? Only God knows but, it could happen any minute.

God waited 120 years, while Noah built the Ark, before the flood. God gave the Assyrians 400 years to repent. He stayed His mighty hand and allowed Israel to become slaves under Egyptian rule. Because the Assyrians never repented God freed the Israelites and instructed them to take the Assyrians' land and put them to death. Israel, by disobeying God, was continually harassed, and warred against the Assyrians. God sent Jonah to Nineveh to warn them of the coming wrath of God. They repented and God stayed His hand.

Jesus is long suffering but, how long is long suffering? He is waiting, waiting for everyone to come to the point where they turn to the Love of God. It is a scary thought to think of anyone going to Hell. Some people think just because they know of God and live a good life, that a good and just God would not send them to Hell. For those who do not repent and are left on earth after the Rapture, there will be utter destruction as a finale. A few will come to repentance and believe, but certainly Satan will have the biggest share.

God is not unloving, John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only be gotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. "God loves us very much and wants all of us to turn to Him. So bring someone to Sunday School so they can learn of Gods Love and learn how to study the Bible before it is too late, because the Lord may return next Sunday.
